Last fall I had the privilege of photographing a gorgeous wedding in Virginia. You can see the details of that wedding here. Amongst all the perfect details of that wedding was the fabulous food made by a catering company DeFazio's out of Richmond, VA. If you are a foodie or just love food, you know how important it is to have tasty, quality food at any event. Be sure to give them a try, they won't disappoint!

Tom and Cindy {Wedding}
"You've Gotta Dance Like Nobody's Watching"
I first met Cindy a little over a year ago when we got together
to do a photoshoot. As I was getting to know her, I remember
even back then we started talking about a possible upcoming engagement. I found out that she was a
professional ballet dancer and that she also loved to swing
dance. Something I've always wanted to learn how to do.
It was through swing dance that Tom and Cindy met in the
first place. You can view their engagement photos here and
get to know them a little bit better. I was super excited when
they chose me to photograph their wedding that took place at The Cultural Arts Center in Glen Allen, Virginia. I love to travel and to go on road trips so this was perfect! The location, decoration, weather and surroundings were the perfect fit for those two and all of their closest family and friends. I did a seperate blog post for the getting ready photos that can be viewed here. Be sure to click on the image to see them larger. Enjoy!
And a huge CONGRATS to Tom and Cindy!

I totally love the grooms cake that depicted the theme of the whole wedding. |

It was so fun to watch these two dance! |

Tom started making these origami animals months before the wedding. They were so cool and tied right into the theme. |

Looking like they stepped right out of a magazine! |

What Weddings Are Made Of
I'm so behind on blogging the weddings I've done. Here is one that I second
shot with Jeff Benzon Photography. I have a few more to post at some point
but will let this one do for now before I go on vacation.

Here's Jeff, yep, we're taking pictures of each other. We always test the lighting before things get real. |

I love all the gorgeous details on the day of the a wedding. |
![]() |
Sometimes the details are very sentimental. Given or handed down by loved ones. |

I totally love this shot of the ring but the picture that captures my heart is this of the little puppy chow wondering what all the commotion is all about. |

The gorgeous bride in her gorgeous dress. |

I love this impromptu moment that daddy steals one last kiss of his "little girl". |

The bride and groom's closest friends. |

The ceremony. |

What weddings are made of....family and friends, cake smash, pillow fights, laughter, sweet and silly moments. |

Doh, Dad is out of cash! |

The perfect image to end with. They live happily ever after! |

Weddings are FABULOUS!
Thanks so much to Priscilla Baumgartner Photography for having me
second shoot this fabulous wedding! The bride and groom, Mhegyan and Jason Booz
(yes Booz!) was so much fun and I loved the colors and location of the wedding. Not to
mention that we have so much fun working together as a team!
